Here's a series of photos that was taken during a brief stopover of "The Freedom Train" . A 1940 vintage steam engine was touring with a group of soldiers and made a stop in our little town of Marion. As the troops were moving to reboard the train I was taking pictures... This was totally unexpected.

In the first picture you can see the soldier's eyes caught her first glimps of me and the camera. After about two more steps she stopped thru a pose and then proceeded to move on. Not thinking I had caught the first shot I encouraged her to give me another chance. The third shot was the result. The whole interaction lasted about 15 sec.

You never know when the model in them is going to come out.
