I have a problem: need to make many digital pictures of relatively small items. And now I realize I need to buy a good macro digital camera for that purpose.
As usual, the budget is limited, but could anyone recommend top players (middle priced) in that sector? |

| My Canon A610 does good work with macro photography, but i am not sure if it meets your needs. |

| Are there special cameras made for just macro pictures? I love to take macros of flowers and bugs and I make seed bead earrings and always use macro for documenting those. I have just been using my regular Fuji FinePix A360 and it seems to do okay, but a special macro camera would be something for me to look into. |

| I have a olympus sp-565uz that has a macro and super macro setting. I can get some fantastic close up shots with it. I had a fuji fine pix (can't remember which one but it was made in the last 3 years) and I thought it did good but after using the olympus there's no comparison. |
