why do ppl entercontest with photographs that have absolutely NOTHING to do with the theme?
There is one in the "pets at play" contest, titled "self" with the caption "the contents in the image shows my particular mood at the time and also my attitude towards the life".
There is no animal in this picture, just some out of focus, gloomy sceenery.is there a way that you, the moderators can delete pictures from contests that are absolutely irrevalent to the contest theme?
seems to me that some people just enter contest with any photo , just to "gain status",which is absolutely absurd.

That one will probably come in first...
Unfortunately it's not just that shot. There are a bunch of other "pet " portraits that have no "play" action involved.

I agree, a lot of shots are "just" portraits, not at all "pets at play".

i think they may of put it in the wrong contest. may of meant to put it in the atmosphere contest. that has happened befor. i dont think people do it on purpose just to get stats. i would like to know why people keep putting the same pictures in the contests. i see 3 or 4 in some of the contests right now. i know the 1 has even been in first place in another contest. i dont think that should be allowed either. |

I wish I could agree with you NANA, but this is not he 1st time that someone enters a photograph into a contesst that doesn't match the theme.
Even if that picture was meant for the "atmospheres contest",it would still be a missmatch(read the contest theme),it's about weather, not moods.
That being said.................we should all be here for the experiance(i know i am),and not for the 'status"
regards
