| Shotaddict community is growing bigger. New people come, so I think it will be a good idea to learn more about each other. I'm wondering what photo background do our members have. |

| I've always enjoyed taking pictures of family and friends .... it was a way for me to 'tell my story'. Of course the pictures were just a 'point and shoot' kind ... nothing too technical about them. Every once in awhile I would take a really good picture (or rather a picture would turn out good) but I never new why. It wasn't until I received a digital camera for Christmas two years ago that I started to think that I wanted to know more about photography than I did. In fall of 2006 I came across 'shotaddict' website. I joined and have enjoyed myself ever since! I have learned so much in the short little while that I have been a member and continue to do so. Just a last note: I welcome any critique on any of my photos ... it's one of the ways that I can learn and become better. Thanks! |

Larissa, Thanks for your warm words and for your support.
I think the best place to get feedback on your photos at this website is our photo share forum. Look forward to seeing more photos from you. |

| I'm something about two years in photogrpahy and since the day I first took a digital camera, i have learnt a lot about photography on the whole and digital photography in particular. I don't always have enough time for my hobby, but i try to do it any free minute i have. |

| I'm really new to photography. Although i used to take casual photos of my family and friends for years, i wasn't really interested in photography till my hubby gave me a digicam as a birthday present, it was about a year ago. Since then i have taken my cam everywhere with me. I also read some literature on the topic, I try to enhance my skills. |

| I've never done photography as a professional, but I have been in digital photgraphy for 4 years. For me it is just the way to spend my leissure time with pleasure. |

| It's not the years, It's the miles. I hopefully have less mileage than years. I took up an interest in photography back when you could still by a new om1. |

i got my first digicam about two years ago. never had a camera before that (except for my phone cams), never thought it was high on my priority list. i've always liked taking photos, but i was alright with using friends' cameras. last year, my mother bought me a cam as a gift - it was the best gift i've had in a long time. now, i never leave home without my cam! =) _________________ I love this crazy, tragic, sometimes almost magic, awful, beautiful life. |

I've loved photography since I was a kid. Let's see.. I'm 50 now. Okay a long long time. I used 35mm until a few years ago. I bought a digital mainly for the convenience. _________________ -- |
