| I'm uncertain of what is required to initiate a contest; I think my current "amateur" status precludes me from launching one. However, as a suggestion, perhaps there could be one in which photos capture a connection between man and architecture: the opening of a door, the ascent of a staircase, the cramming onto a congested elevator - just as some illustrations. It might be a concept which would engage interest of members, and I, for one, would be interested in seeing some of the products of the many imaginative people I've seen at this site. Thanks. |

If it hasn't been done already I'll post such a contest today.

PS If you drop the moderators a note they may be willing to upgrade your status. I think it only requires entry into 5 contests. _________________ Orville Wright didn’t have a pilot's license. |

Once you enter five photo contests you are eligible to start your own challenges.

| I was wondering if there could be some more photoshop contest. I don't really care what the theme or objective to the contest is I would just like to have a challenge. (Plus, I am finally getting a ViewSonic monitor today and I am excited about testing it out!!!) |

I finally thought of one!!! Good grief it took long enough didn't it? Anyway, I'm not sure what its called, but you know when you turn a picture all black and white except for just a single color or item, which is left in color? Well I love practicing that technique so maybe we could do a contest like that. I think that I can finally start contest, though I may have to enter one or two more to gain that ability, but if someone else who doesn't want to participate in it would make it that would be awesome.
(Wait, it may be helpful to know... can you enter into a contest you create?) |

Ok - new contest "Selective Coloring" is up and running. Thanks for the suggestion lastar. Starts Saturday 23 Feb.
I wont be entering this one but will try my best to comment on each and every photo entered.
