The central subject is interesting enough but the background is very distracting because it contains so many of the same colors and tones as the subjects facial features... MHO
Perhaps a tighter crop...

| It is an interesting subject, but there is so much going on in the background, even though it is blurred, that it is distracting and almost overpowering the subject. |

| I am having a hard time seeing the complete picture because of the width, is this only me. Is there a setting I can change on my end to make a max./min. picture width? |

Interesting subject -- but I have to agree with the others that it's to distracting in the background. Here's what i would do with this one (see attached). Hope you don't mind the rework.
