Hi!
I joined this site hoping to learn more and improve my photography. So, anyways, here's one I did of one of my nieces. Please critique away!
I took it in color, and changed it to b&w on the computer, other than that I didn't make any changes. Well, if there was red eye, which I don't remember if there was on this one,I did get rid of it.
Thanks! |

Hi Trisha - very nice pose of this beautiful child. I've reworked it to my preference and I hope you like it. What I did here is cropped it in an oval shape and faded the outside of the photo then added a border. Hope you don't mind!

OK, guys, ya'll are making me want photoshop even more! All I have is the basic photo program that came with my kodak. LOL!
JLW, I don't know why there'd be any difference between the one I posted here, and the one I entered in the contest, I used the same file that I had resized to post on here.
Thank you, nana, I like it in b&w, also. |

Hi Trisha
I think i figured out the difference in the two shots.. The contest photo is against a grey background. The forum shot is against a white background. That is why the whites in the contest photo look brighter/whiter.

Absolutely adorable!! I love all the versions everyone! There is a freeware program called GIMPshop you might want to give a try, it is similar to Photoshop but you can't do quite as much with it . |
