| A friend of mine recommended me as a wedding photographer to his cousin and now I’m asked to be the photographer at their wedding. That is something new for me. I'm very excited about the opportunity, but also confused. That will be my first wedding. I found some good online tutorials, but probably you also know something that may help me, any special tricks, or anything. Thanks in advance. |

Wedding photogrpahy is a very popular type of photos, but if it is your first photo wedding I would be careful - if you fail your friend will never forgive you.
I also think that you should talk to someone experienced in this. In addition to your online research. |

That's what i'm trying to do. I believe that there are people in this forum who have some experience in wedding photography, and who can give me a hand.
In fact, i'm quite an experienced photographer myself, i've just never tried wedding photography. Now i want to find as much information as possible to be sure i won't disappoint my friends. |

Traveller, you'll find some useful sources for online wedding photography tutorials here.
The most difficult thing about wedding photogrpahy is to organize large groups of people. If you are good at managing people and have some experience in portrait photography, you shouldn't have many problems.
Good luck. |

| I'd rather hire a professional for this sort of event. |

I can't claim that I'm quite an experienced photographer myself, but a great many people stand in awe of photographers, who want to take a photo. I have an experience to be the photographer at my brother's wedding, I won't boast of my work, but mostly my photos are great. _________________ Tempora mutantur et nos mutantur in illis. |

Antilos, why don't you share the results of your work? We'll be pleased to see your photos and probably you'll find feedback useful. |

Sorry, but at present I can't share them without some people's agreement.
By the way, any photo contains a part of our energy (proofed researchers), and once a wise woman told me we should be careful with our photos. Don't think I'm some kind of geek ))) _________________ Tempora mutantur et nos mutantur in illis. |
