O'Reilly has published a new manual on photography. Taking into the account the quality of the company products it might be a good idea to get a copy.

The book desciption:

Quote:
Digital Photography: The Missing Manual helps you to take beautiful digital pictures and share the results with friends and family. Spiked with advice and humor, trademarks of the Missing Manual series, this book shows you how to master your digital camera and take memorable photos, then edit and share them. Ideal for those just getting started, this book is also perfect for those wanting to increase the digital photography skills they already have.

You can buy the book directly from the company website for 29.99$. Or browse Amazon market - they should have some used copies by this time (or they will be placed on sale shortly)

Read the manual detailed content (17 chapters) - it will help you to make the final decision if it is worth your mony.

Did anyone read the book? I know it is possible to access their manuals online on some subscription basis, but would like to hear some feedback - is it worth the money.

I would also hear the feedback, bit I think the manual is just printed, it is not likely to hear first comments within a few months.

Most printed manuals have online versions that you can access online for some fee.
