Voting system

No matter what this voting system is crap!!!! Sorry i am really sick of seeing low ball scores on my photos.. I havent been posting to this site lately due to the low ball scores.. I recently entered a pic that once again recieved a 2 for subject and a 1 for techinque... Uhm the contest was Halloween... The pic was a pic of a child in a lion costume with some props around him.. I will admit its not a pic that deserves a 10... But why am i getting a 2 on subject??? Does a child in a lion costume really not fit a halloween contest.... The first place picture is a full moon.. Sorry, but to me, a full moon really DOES NOT represent Halloween!! Its a full moon... Happens once a month!!! I did recieve a comment on the photo stating that it looked to staged and what not and to a point i agree, but do not agree that the photo deserves a score of 2.. Also, i am beyond frustrated and annoyed with seeing photos getting high scores while only having a few votes... But the photos that have the most votes are getting lower scores... To me, if more people took the time to vote on one photo over another, dosent matter the score they gave, thats the more popular photo!!! Im beyond annoyed seeing first place pics with only 3 votes while other photos in the contest have 6 and 7.... Its just not right!!!
