It happens you've resized your image to the smaller size and deleted the original one. Or you've shot something great with your mobile phone. If you need to print this photo, make a poster or just to join our photo contests there are some ways to enlarge your photo almost without quality loss.
A. Photoshop.
1. Enlarge you photo 10%, using Image -> Image Size -> Bicubic Smoother (Best for Enlargment) until you get the size you need.
2. If your photo is b&w you can enlarge it 50% at once almost without quality loss.
3. Post process carefully if needed (blur, sharp, draw some parts or add noise).
B. Photoshop.
1. Enlarge your photo twice more than you need.
2. Blur it just to hide artifacts, then sharpen to show details.
3. Resize it to the size you need.
C. Enlarge software.
1. Download any of resize programs or plugins. For example, http://reshade.com/
2. Enlarge it online http://reshade.com/online-image-resizer/add-image (Upload image, choose effects (if you want) and the size you need) |
