Many of us have a lot of negatives and slides we would like to store electronically. Slide/film scanners vary in price from under $100 to thousands. What if any are you using? What do you think about the Plustek OpticFilm 7300 or 7500 either can be purchased for $329 or less.

here's my take. there are a lot of options, but one great one to consider is to have IR dust and scratch removal. It uses infrared to detect what is part of the photo and what is a flaw in the film.
