OK Chris...
Didn't I read in your profile you live in Tucson Az... I lived in Phoenix for 57 years and don't ever recall seeing that much ice anywhere in AZ.
On a more serious note... "cool shot dude" The photo is excellent!!
Just one old guys opinion.

PS I am throwing in a couple of variations on your shot just because I can't resist. _________________ Orville Wright didn’t have a pilot's license. |

Hi JLW,
Even though I spent 10 years in the US (7 years in Boston and 3 in San Diego) I live now in Austria (from whence I came to the US in the first place). More specifically, in the one part of Austria where there aren't any huge mountains, not a whole lot of snow and where most people haven't even heard of the "Sound of Music". Still, I like it here and it does make for nice frost on some moody winter shots.
I cherish the "cool shot dude" comment from you, I've seen some cool shots from you myself.
See you 'round, -- Chris. |

JLW Thinking...... I wonder of there is a way to set up a chat channel on this site? Sure would be nice to be able to chat directly with some of the folks here. _________________ Orville Wright didn’t have a pilot's license. |

Interesting observation Nana... Except I didn't change the sharpness on either photo. In fact I took down the original posting I did for this shot because it looked out of focus compared to the original... I still think that both repoductions are a "softer focus" than the original. In fact one of the elements in the last photo in the set has a gausian blur added to one of the layers. Go figure...I guess these old eyes are just playing tricks on me.

| ok, i guess i didn't word it right. i meant the original has a softer feel and look to it. more like what a frosty cold day looks like. the others are to harsh. imho |

Only because you said "don't hold back", I don't like the town in the background, pull eye there and I feel would be even better (it allready great) if the town area was like the sky.
Good work loven it. |
