| There were a few articles in own photography blog on Nude Photography. I thought we can start a Nude Photo Contest, but I'm not sure if there will be many submissions. I decided to ask our members first if they are going to participate in such a contest. |

I think you have chosen the right way, I mean your idea with the poll, Olya.
And it is a great idea to run a poll before starting a new photo contest if the topic is questionable.

I honestly believe that nude photos are considered art as long as they are done in a tastefull and controlled manner.... Do you disagree to admiring nude paintings or statues??? Of course not we have all seen them in the museums and such and they are considered art so why should nude photos be any less artistic....[/b]

In general I share your point, the hard task in my opinion is to draw the line:
is this particular nude photo art done in a tastefull/ controlled manner or not. |

| The poll shows that shotaddict members are still not ready for a nude photography contest. And it is not surprising, although I didn't expect that 9 from 10 will be so strongly against this type of photography. |
