I was just wondering why there have been two of the same exact contests going on.. (Wild animal shots and B&W Dram shots) I almost find it annoying.. If the contest is in the amateur division then the advanced members can still enter it so there is no need to put it in the advanced division! Anyone else feel the same way?

I have to agree with Heather Lynn! Why do we need the same contest running in both divisions?

Hello milnic! Welcome to shotaddict! The best way to start is to read this welcome post that will orient you on the website. Actually you are allowed to submit images to any amateur contests, choose the one you like more, or submit to all of them.

I also noticed it. Don't understand what for we need two contests with the same topic. Hope that the author hears us.

It does get a little confusing.Kind of wonder if it is being done to be able to enter four images of the same subjects instead of just two.It uses up your photo storage space that way though.

I share the point that it is a bit confusing, but along with that I would like thank Johnnysgirl85 for active involvement into the website running.

I hope you will stay our active member for years to come.

I was wondering the same thing! Is there two contests so you can enter four pictures... Also is it done this way just so you can get a higher number of contests entered and also is that the way the author is trying to win contests.. On the Self Portrait Drama ones, there is only four days to enter a pic and three days voting... Seems to me like the author is just trying to get her statistics up..
