Customers Reviews 2008-08-23 Wellford's Painted Garden Art Best value we have seen yet! Only complaint is that the used book we ordered has not arrived yet. Reordered 3 new books and received them probably 2 - 4 weeks before the used book will arrived?
Thanks for asking!!!!!!!!!!!!! | 2008-08-08 Very Impressive book for subject matter. I purchased this for my wife and her friends, she says Lin Wellford has created a wonderful instuctional book for all. I am a beginner and I have learned so much from creating some great yard art for our cul-de-sac. I would encourage anyone to purchase this I think you will be pleased. | 2008-05-27 Fantastic Rock Artist Writes Another Great Book! Lin Welford is such a wonderful and talented artist. I came upon one of her books on rock art years ago and ever since the craft has fascinated me.
This latest book is about making garden art and it has a rock pond with gold fish. Instead of giving my Mom flowers again for Mother's Day, I bought this book and made her the gold fish pond. My Mother loved it,it was like I was in school again making my Mommy something that came from the heart. | 2008-03-11 WOW These projects are incredible and the author breaks them down step by step so even a non-artist like myself can get great results. | 2007-08-26 Fun for all Ages This book is another winner for Lin Wellford. I own all of her books and like her previous works she breaks rock painting, or in this case concrete painting, down into a step by step process. Truly anyone can paint with Lin's instructions. This book includes a few more complex projects so is not the one I would recommend for the first time painter, but on the other hand she has included patterns of the projects in the back of the book. This is also the book for those of you who do not have access to a rock pile. Just head down to your local home improvement store and for a few dollars pick up your "canvas". | |
